I know a lot of you will scroll past this but have a heart. This is Joe, he is only 2 years old, but he is very ill.

I got Joe at the beginning of my final year of school, and he has been with me through all the hard and stressful times. But lately his health has been falling and there’s nothing much we can do.

Joe battery collapsed and now he cannot power on his own, his power chord has to be forced into him with tape 24 hours a day because without it, Joe will die instantly.

His x and ctrl keys have broken and disapeared and cannot be reattached.

His back has been badly cracked beyond repair from when he was carelessly left to burn in front of a heater a few months ago.

Further down Joe’s back is a wound like no other, you can actually see his insides and it’s extremely painful for him.

Joe constantly has a very high fever, and when he gets too hot, he makes a high pitch noise as his fan desperately tries to cool him down but fails miserably. I constantly have to close him up and put him to rest at night before it’s too late.

Joe is also blind as his webcam will not work, so he’s unable to see the beauty in this world and his Eject, Prnt Scrn and Insert keys, although still attached, have failed.

It won’t be long before his system fails entirely and Joe will die.

He has been a good laptop, but he won’t last much longer and I don’t know what I will do without him.
